★CH2: Running with the Blue Bloods★
Chapter 2 is describing about how the dog’s name comes from. At first, they have a fight on dog’s name. They have different opinions on names. As they fought, Jenny walked to the stereo and pushed the play button on the tape deck. They heard a strain of Bob Marley from stereo. The songs of Bob Marley gave them many memories of staying together, falling in love and so on. Suddenly, they both shouted “Marley.” Therefore, the dog’s was named Marley. The next night, John told her wife he decided to give Marley a long name, because one day they might plan to show or breed their dog. Afterward, John brainstorm a name “Grogan’s Majestic Marley of Churchill.”
The battle of naming your own pets always heppened in your family. Choosing a name that give every owner a good memory is a good idea.

★Marley & Me (CH1) ★
Summary: The novel “Marley & Me” by John Grogan is about a relationship between a news reporter and his pet dog. Chapter one is describing how the couple have their own dog. The reporter’s wife Jenny is not a good green thumb. More plants dead, more water she doused. One day, she read an ad from newspaper; the ad is about having a dog. She wanted to have a dog to hone her parenting skill, so the couple decided to buy a dog that cost them 350 dollars.
Commend: The first chapter attracts me to keep reading. It is a really interesting book to every dog’s fan. Although some vocabulary I cannot understand, I try to understand the whole story. I think I can get my English reading improved when I read the book.
